By present appeal, the appellant is challenging the order dated 20.12.2020 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Pusad in Misc. Criminal Application No.215/2020, granting anticipatory bail to the respondent nos. 2 to 8. The appeal has been filed on 12.02.2021. Learned counsel appearing for the appellant was discharged vide order dated 23.09.2022. Thereafter, notice came to be issued for engagement of another counsel. Despite service of notice, neither the appellant nor counsel appears on his behalf. It appears, the appellant has lost interest in prosecuting the appeal. Learned A.P.P. submits that charge-sheet is likely to be filed within some days. If that be so and for want of assistance from the appellant, there is no reason why anticipatory bail granted should be cancelled. There appears no substance in the appeal.
