DATED : APRIL 9, 2015 The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by rejection of his application for extension of his parole by the impugned order passed by respondent no.2.

Heard learned Counsel for the parties and perused affidavit-in-reply filed by respondents. We find that the petitioner sought parole on the ground of ill health of his daughter Arti. The petitioner thereafter applied for extension of parole on 11/11/2014. However, request of petitioner was

1004wp144.15 2/2 turned down considering that there were no sufficient documents produced establishing that his daughter was suffering from serious ailment.

From the medical certificate relied by the petitioner, it appears that petitioner's daughter was suffering from viral fever and that too, on 22/11/2014. There is no further document placed on record to establish physical condition of the petitioner's daughter as on date. Considering nature of ailment of petitioner's daughter, we do not find any reason for grant of extension of parole. The criminal writ petition is devoid of merits and hence, the same is rejected.

The fee payable to the learned Counsel appointed for the petitioner is quantified as rupees fifteen hundred.
