The Divisional Joint Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Amravati has sworn affidavit in support of this application filed on behalf of the Principal Secretary, Department of Co-operation, Marketing and Textile pointing out that the Enquiry Officer, by communication dated 4th February 2019, has requested for extension of time to submit the enquiry report.

The learned advocate appearing for the State submitted that in the enquiry it is found that three other officers of the Co-operative Department are also prima-facie appear to be involved and the investigating agency has filed chargesheet against them. It is submitted that the departmental enquiry against these three officers is proposed. These facts are not found either in the letter sent by the Enquiry Officer or in the application placed on record. It is assured that the enquiry against the other three officers will also be initiated within one month.

2 appln29.17 The Principal Secretary, Department of Cooperation, Marketing and Textile, Maharashtra State shall file an affidavit by next date pointing out the progress of the matter.

The enquiry which is already going on against K.S.Balinge and M.R. Kakde to continue. The Enquiry Officer shall endeavour to complete the enquiry and submit report till 15th June 2019.

The civil application is disposed accordingly. CRI.APPLN.NO.29/2017.
