Inspite of the orders passed by this Court on 10th June, 2016 the appellant has neither deposited the amount nor has filed any application praying for extension of time to deposit the amount. The civil application is dismissed. The amount of interest payable to the claimants as per the impugned award from 10th September, 2016 onwards, i.e. from the date on which the time granted by this Court to deposit the amount expired, shall be recovered from the concerned officer(s)/ official(s) responsible for handling the matter.

The Executive Director of Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation shall cause enquiry in the matter and file action taken report on the record of this appeal within three months.
