CRIMINAL APPLICATION NO. 128/2021 The applicant prays for suspension of sentence. The applicant is convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 307 and 498-A r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code and is sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for five years and to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/- for an offence punishable under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code. For the offence punshable under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, he is sentenced to suffer two years rigorous imprisonment and to pay afine of Rs.5,000/- By this time, the applicant has undergone more than three and half years of imprisonment as the applicant was in jain between 04/10/2013 to

4 appeal 96-2021.odt 28/2/2014 and thereafter from 17/08/2018 till today. Considering this aspect the substantive sentence of imprisonment passed against the applicant is hereby suspended. The applicant be released on bail on his executing Personal Bond of Rs. 15,000/- with one surety in the like amount. The applicant, after his release on bail, shall deposit the fine amount within a period of four weeks from the date of his release, failing which the bail granted to the applicant shall be cancelled.

Criminal application is disposed of.

CRIMINAL APPLICATION NO. 129/2021 In the light of order passed in the Criminal Application No.128/2021, this application is disposed of.
