The appeal is against the judgment and award passed by the Presiding Officer Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement, Nagpur.

Civil Application (CAF) No.971/2023.

The application is for stay to the effect and operation of the impugned Judgment and Award dated 30.03.2021 passed by the learned Presiding Officer Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority, Nagpur in 665/AMT/YTL/2019.

Learned Advocate Mr. Kukday for the appellant submitted that the appellant has yet to deposit

(2) 50.fa.230.2023 the amount of compensation. On depositing the amount of compensation within ten weeks, the effect, operation, implementation and execution of the impugned Judgment and Award passed by the learned Presiding Officer Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority, Nagpur in 665/AMT/YTL/2019 be stayed till final disposal of the appeal.

On failure to deposit the amount within ten weeks, the stay granted will be vacated automatically without further reference to the Court.
