IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
NAGPUR BENCH : NAGPUR WRIT PETITION NO.1025 OF 2020 The Gondia District Court Employees'
Association Group-C, Gondia.
...
Petitioner - Versus - The State of Maharashtra and others ... Respondents ----------------- Shri R.M. Pande, Advocate for Petitioner.
Shri F.T. Mirza, Advocate for Respondent No.2. Ms Ketki Joshi, Government Pleader for Respondent No.1. ---------------- CORAM : NITIN JAMDAR AND ANIL L. PANSARE, JJ.
DATE : 25 MARCH 2022 P.C. :
The Petitioner an Association of employees working in the Court seeks a direction as regards creation and sanction of the additional posts. A proposal is already made by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Gondia which is forwarded to the State Government. We do not recognize any special locus in the
WP 1025.2020 Petitioner to seek this relief, when the High Court Administration is already following up the issue with the State Government. If the employees have any grievance about shortage of posts appropriate course of action for them is to submit their representation to the Administration. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that such representation is already made. 2.
Learned Counsel representing the High Court administration states that the matter is taken up with the State Government and in fact the correspondence in that regard is on going.
3.
We have no doubt the Administration will look into the matter as regards the sanction of additional posts and pursue the same. Learned Government Pleader states that necessary cooperation would be extended to the High Court administration in that regard to expedite the proposal. 4.
Since the Respondent-High Court administration is already pursuing the issue, the Writ Petition is disposed of. (ANIL L. PANSARE, J.) (NITIN JAMDAR, J.) CHANDRASHEKHAR DESHMUKH Date: 2022.04.01 19:06:52 +0530 SANDEEP CHANDRASHEKHAR DESHMUKH Deshmukh
