The only relief sought in the writ petition is for a direction to decide the review application preferred by the petitioner-Society against the order dated 24.04.2008 passed by the respondent no.1. This review application has been preferred under Section 258 of Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

Considering the limited relief as sought, the writ petition is disposed of by passing the following order :

(1) The respondent no.1 shall decide the review application expeditiously if the same has not yet been decided and preferably within a period of three months from the production of copy of this order before the respondent no.1.

(2) It is made clear that we have not examined the grounds of review and the proceedings shall be decided in accordance with law
