In this petition, the petitioner, inter alia, seeks to quash the order of termination dated 29th October, 2020 by which the services of the petitioner were terminated as Executive Engineer (Electrical) by the Maharashtra Airport Development Company Limited. 2.

The challenge to the aforesaid order dated 29th October, 2020 was primarily based on the notification dated 26th May, 1977 issued by the Ministry of Education & Social Welfare (Deptt. Of Education Technical), New Delhi, Government of India.

This Court has entertained the writ petition on the ground that the alleged notification is pending for adjudication before the High Court of Delhi in W.P. (C) No.2671/2017 (Union of India and anr. Vs. Central PWD Engineers Association and others).

When the matter is called out today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that the aforesaid Writ Petition has been

2 wp1599.2021.odt decided by judgment dated 25th November, 2024 and has produced a copy of the aforesaid judgment.

From perusal of the aforesaid order, it is evident that the High Court of Delhi has recorded finding that no reliance can be placed on the notification dated 26th May, 1977.

In view of the aforesaid finding recorded by the High Court of Delhi, the challenge to the order 29th October, 2020 issued by the respondent terminating the services of the petitioner has to fail. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed.
