DATE : 18.04.2016 By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent no.1 to pay the compensation of Rs.37,36,140/- to the petitioner without reducing the part of the compensation on the ground that the land of the petitioner is not irrigated. It would not be proper for this Court to decide whether the land of the petitioner is irrigated or not. The petitioner is free to accept the undisputed compensation that is liable to be paid to the petitioner under protest and file appropriate proceedings under the Coal Bering Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957. In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs. The points raised in the petition are kept open.
