It is not in dispute that the present petitioner murdered one Dhyaneshwar in the year 1992 and was sentenced to life imprisonment, which he has already undergone.

After his release, he committed the murder of the mother of PW-1 (Arun Hatwar), which led to his conviction in Sessions Trial No.84/2008 for an offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

The conviction of the petitioner for second murder. The jail authorities rightly categorized him under clause 6(b) of the Government Resolution dated 15.03.2015. It reads thus:-

(b) Persons already convicted for life and is convicted again for murder 5.

In the aforesaid background, this is the second conviction of the petitioner for an offence of murder. There is no case for causing interference as the petitioner is so categorized.

Criminal Writ Petition accordingly fails and dismissed.
