None had appeared on behalf of the appellant on 19/08/2015.

We were prima facie of the view that an appeal would not lie against the order impugned in this appeal in view of the provisions of Section 19 of the Family Courts Act, as the impugned order is an interlocutory order. We had directed the Registry to verify the position. The Registrar (Judicial) has, by the note, dated 25/08/2015 conveyed to the Court that no appeal or revision would lie against the impugned order and it would be necessary for the appellant to file a writ petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India.

Since the appeal is not tenable and since none had appeared on behalf of the appellant on the previous date of hearing and also today, we dismiss the Family Court Appeal with no order as to costs.
