Challenge in the petition is, rejection of regular parole leave on the ground that mother of the petitioner was seriously ill.

Learned counsel Ms Shweta Wankhde for the petitioner, states that during the pendency of the present petition, it is informed that the mother of the petitioner has expired and, therefore, purpose for which the present petition for grant of regular parole leave was filed has been frustrated. 4.

In this view of the matter, nothing survives in the present criminal writ petition.

The criminal writ petition is disposed of as rendered infructuous.
