This is an application filed on behalf of Harmeet Singh Kalsi, one of the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner Chanchal Singh Kalsi, praying for permission to withdraw the amount deposited in the Registry of this Court along with accrued interest, as per the order dated 25.10.2018 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 2614 of 2000.

A perusal of the said order shows that this Court permitted the petitioners, i.e. all the legal heirs of the said deceased Chanchal Singh Kalsi to withdraw the aforesaid amount. Along with this application, the applicant (petitioner no.1) has annexed no objection/authorisation certificates and affidavit of the other three petitioners (legal heirs of the original party Chanchal Singh Kalsi). The certificates and affidavit placed on record show that they are notarized and in the case of petitioner no.3, it is endorsed by the High Commission of India at London, because the said petitioner is residing in the United Kingdom. Since the
CAW425-19.odt said certificates and affidavit are notarized and endorsed by the High Commission of India, authorising the applicant herein to withdraw the amount lying in this Court, the present application is allowed.

Accordingly, the applicant Harmeet Singh Kalsi is permitted to withdraw the amount deposited in the Registry of this Court along with accrued interest, if any. Application is disposed of.
