2] Shri P. S. Chawhan, learned counsel holding for Adv. Shri Khadse, for the petitioners informs this Court that as per the instructions given to him by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioner No. 1 is dead. Learned counsel, however, has no further instructions in the matter. It seems that no efforts have been taken for continuing the cause of action by the legal heirs of petitioner No.1. It is obvious that this petition, so far as petitioner No.1 is concerned, has abated.
3] As far as petitioner No.2 is concerned, we find that he is not entitled to get any relief in this case, the relief is of grant of benefits to him under Career Advancement Scheme

The Career Advancement Scheme as per the reply filed on behalf of the petitioner No.1 seems to be made applicable to respondent No. 1 with effect from March 2002 and petitioner No.2 had retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.07.2001.
