The petitioner seeks various directions against the respondents to provide him Government sanctioned land at Survey No.26. The contempt petition was disposed of on 01.12.2020 after taking into consideration the affidavit filed by the respondent no.1 on 17.07.2019 that the land in question was reserved for garden and therefore its conversion for commercial land was not approved. It was observed that if the petitioner was aggrieved by the aforesaid decision he was free to challenge the same in accordance with law.

The prayer made in the civil application will have to be considered in independent proceedings and not in contempt jurisdiction. Hence, with liberty to the petitioner to take further steps in accordance with law for pursuing the prayers made in the application the same is disposed of. (SMT. PUSHPA V. GANEDIWALA, J.) (A. S.
