Heard.
The applicants (father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased) are arrested on 17th April, 2016 in crime registered against them and co-accused for the offences punishable under Sections 306, 498(A) read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code on the accusations that because of the demand of dowry and harassment meted out to the victim at her matrimonial house she committed suicide. The Investigating Agency relies on the suicide note alleged to have been written by the deceased. The investigation is complete and chargesheet is filed on 14th June, 2016. The applicant No.1 claims to be an agriculturist and the applicant No.2 is a housewife. The Investigating Agency has not been able to point out that the custody of the applicants is required for further investigation.
2 ba173.17 Considering the facts of the case, in my view, the applicants are entitled to be released on bail. Hence, the following order:
The applicants having been arrested in Crime No. 9 of 2016 registered by the non-applicant, they be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond for Rs.Twenty Thousand each and two solvent sureties in the like amount for each of the applicant.
The applicant No.1 shall attend trial before the Sessions Court on every date unless granted exemption by the Sessions Court.
