The appellant was convicted by the Additional Sessions Judge, Akola for commission of offences punishable under Section 354-D of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and was sentenced to suffer Simple Imprisonment for one year and to pay fine of Rs.3,000/- with stipulation of default. Learned Sessions Judge has suspended the sentence for the appeal period. The appellant has deposited fine amount of which receipt is produced. During the pendency of trial, the appellant was on bail. 3.

Having regard to the nature of allegation and quantum of sentence, following order is passed : (i) The execution of substantive sentence stands suspended till final disposal of the appeal on
