Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

The lands of the petitioners came to be acquired pursuant to the award dated 17/1/2015. The petitioners seek relief under Section 80 of the Right To Fair Compensation And Transparency In Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation And Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short "the said Act"). Pursuant to the liberty granted by this Court in Writ Petition No. 2077/2019, the petitioners have approached respondent No.1 seeking relief under Section 80 of the said Act. The application to that effect is dated 30/1/2020. The petitioners seek expeditious consideration of the said application.

Considering the aforesaid facts, respondent No.1 is directed to take a decision on the petitioners' application dated 30/1/2020 within a period of three months from the date of the petitioners' appearance before respondent No.1. The petitioners shall appear before respondent No.1 on 1/12/2022. In case the petitioners are found entitled to higher amount of compensation/ interest, the same shall be paid to them in accordance with law. All questions in that regard are kept open.
