APRIL 3, 2017 The wife of the petitioner sought the release of the petitioner on parole so as to enable him to take care of her illness. However, in the meanwhile, the petitioner enjoyed furlough and reported back only in November-2016. Hence, this application moved by the wife in August-2016 is rendered infructuous.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
