2) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application for intervention before the learned Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (MAT), however, the same has been pending since January 2024.

3) It is further submitted that respondent No.1 has obtained an ex-parte stay from the MAT, thereafter, the matter is lingering before the said Tribunal. Therefore, he urged that learned MAT be directed to dispose of the A.O., as well as application for intervention, as early as possible. 4) Learned In-Charge Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner cannot be termed as a party to the proceeding as his application for intervention is pending before the MAT, therefore, he has no right to claim the relief as prayed. Therefore, he has opposed the petition.

5) Having considered the aforesaid submissions and perusal of the record it seems that since 17/01/2024, the petitioner's application for intervention has been pending,

2 927-wp 1116.2024.odt therefore, we deem it appropriate to direct the learned MAT to dispose of the intervention application as expeditiously as possible within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order, if not decided.

6) In view of the same, the petition is disposed of. No costs.
