CORAM : AVINASH G. GHAROTE & ABHAY J. MANTRI, JJ. ATE : NOVEMBER 29, 2024 1) Perused the communication dated 14/11/2024 received from Assistant Charity Commissioner-2, Buldhana, and order dated 10/08/2022, as well as record.
2) It seems that by order dated 10/08/2022, this Court directed the Assistant Charity Commissioner to decide the pending change reports within 09 months. However, since then, the learned Assistant Charity Commissioner has sought an extension of time, which has been granted from time to time. By this letter again, he has sought a further extension of time by 09 months to decide all the change reports.
3) It further appears that vide order dated 14/06/2023, this Court granted an extension of time by 12 months to dispose of the change reports, which reads thus :
"Perused the letter dated 6-6-2023 received from Assistant Charity Commissioner-2, Buldhana. Considering the difficulties expressed, the time to dispose of the change report is extended by 12 months as a last chance."
4) The above order itself shows that, by way of last chance, time was extended by 12 months. Despite this, the learned
2 wp 1481.2021.odt Assistant Charity Commissioner further sought an extension of time for 09 months. The reasons stated in the application are not satisfactory. However, considering the difficulties expressed, the time to dispose of the change reports is extended by 06 months as a last chance. It is made clear that no further extension shall be granted.
5) Inform the concerned Assistant Charity Commissioner accordingly.
