One of the grievance raised by the petitioner is that on 19.01.2022, an application was made to the respondents for grant of fresh water connection, but that application was kept pending without any decision being taken. That is one of the reasons for the petitioner to approach this Court and seek relief in that regard. Shri Puranik, learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the said application is still pending. In view of this fact, the respondent No.2 shall consider the petitioner's application for grant of fresh water connection dated 19.01.2022 and take a decision thereon within a period of one week from today. It would be open for the petitioner to place the documents in support of her claim before the respondent No.2. In view of aforesaid, it is not necessary to keep the present writ petition pending. The writ petition is disposed of with aforesaid directions.
