AUGUST 5, 2025 The request is to release the petitioner on parole for 45 days.

2] The said request has been turned down by respondent no.1 on the count that the request could be entertained only after 1 1⁄2 years of the petitioner surrendering since from last release. The petitioner appears to have surrendered on 10/8/2023.

3] The learned A.P.P. submits that the rule under which the request was refused has been now deleted. She accordingly submits that the request, if made by the petitioner afresh for releasing him on parole, will be considered as per the fresh Notification dated 2/12/2024.

4] The petitioner is satisfied with the response. 5] Accordingly, the petitioner shall make a fresh application, which shall be considered by the competent authority, i.e., the Deputy Inspector General of Prisons, Amravati, as expeditiously as possible and

6] The petition is disposed of in above terms.
