In earlier round of litigation in Writ Petition No.7187/2022, the petitioner had questioned the issue as regards the repairs to the structure in question which was in dilapidated condition. The dismissal order passed in that writ petition has attained finality before the Apex Court as the Special Leave Petition was disposed of vide order dated 26/02/2024.

It is the case of the petitioner that the respondent No.5 under the guise of carrying out repairs, trying to reconstruct the building that too without sanction from the respondent-Planning Authority. His claim is that he has already moved the respondents with a prayer of inspection of the premises in the matter of repairs being carried out by the respondent No.5 and they may communicate the decision taken. He has invited our attention to the representation dated 05/01/2025. 4.

That being so, we dispose of the petition by directing the respondent-Authority to go through the contentions raised in the petition viz. Respondent No.5 being carrying out reconstruction of the

920-WP-1227-25.odt 2/2 premises and upon inspection thereof, may pass appropriate orders. Such decision be communicated within a period of two weeks from today.

Since the order passed is innocuous, notice to private parties is dispensed with.

No order as to costs.
