Learned counsel for respondent Nos. 4 and 5 makes a statement that the College will submit a proposal for constituting a Committee. At the same time, learned AGP makes a statement, on instructions, that on receipt of such proposal a Government nominee will be appointed on such committee to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion.

We hope that respondent Nos. 4 and 5 will submit a proposal within four weeks from today and the Government will act upon it and communicate the name of nominee within four weeks thereafter.

Accordingly, nothing survives in this writ petition and the same is disposed of.

As far as application for direction to release the salary is concerned, the petitioner may avail appropriate remedy as available to the petitioner in accordance with law. 6.

Petitioner undertakes to co-operate the committee.
