Dated : 13th March, 2019 The grievance of the petitioner is, by and large, satisfied. However, the amount of interest has not been paid on the arrears of pension and gratuity released subsequently. In view of the provisions of Rules 129A and 129B of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982, the petitioner will be entitled to get the interest. The respondent No.1 is directed to pay the interest to the petitioner in accordance with the aforesaid provisions, within a period of two months from today.
The petition stands disposed of.
