By this writ petition, the petitioner that claims to be a National Social Organization, has sought a declaration that process of selection conducted by the respondent no.3-Deputy General Manager of Bank of Baroda for appointment on the posts of Sweeper-cum-Peon in pursuance of the advertisement, dated 30.09.2014 is bad in law and is liable to be set aside. The petitioner-Organization has sought a direction against the respondent no.3 to issue a fresh employment news. When this writ petition came up for hearing on 18.08.2016, the counsel for the petitioner sought time and the matter was adjourned for today, as a last chance. None appears for the petitioner, today. We have perused the petition and the reply filed on behalf of the respondent nos.2 and 3.

In our view, the petitioner-Organization would not have a locus standi to file the writ petition. No candidate, who was interested in applying for the post of Sweeper-cum-Peon in pursuance of the advertisement, has approached this Court. Though the advertisement was issued issued in the daily newspaper 'Sakal' on 30.09.2014, the writ petition is filed belatedly on 25.02.2015, after the interviews were conducted.

Also, on a reading of the reply, we find that the condition in the advertisement that a candidate should have passed the 10th Standard but, should not have passed the 12th Standard examination is not contrary to any directives of the Central Government. The respondent no.3 has already made the appointment of the candidates on the posts of Sweeper-cum-Peon.

In this view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed with no order as to costs.
