Since the election process is already set in motion and the elections are scheduled to be held on 28th of February, 2015, we are not inclined to interfere in the extraordinary writ jurisdiction.

Even otherwise, the petitioner has an alternate remedy available in law to challenge the election, if he is aggrieved with the conduction of the election.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of relegating the petitioner to the alternate remedy available in law. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE APTE
