In terms of Clause 5(v) of the Government Resolution dated 01.07.2016, petitioners have a remedy of filing an appeal before the Joint Director, Sports and Youth Services. There is also a Second Appeal provided.

We therefore, permit petitioners to avail the alternate remedy and keep all questions raised in this petition open, to be agitated therein. We expect the respondents to consider the appeal on merits.
