The respondent No.2 - Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Recruitment Board has filed a pursis dated 14.10.2019 bearing Stamp No. 13914 of 2019, the contents of which are reproduced below. "That, the communication dated 06.02.2019 (Annexure-H), by virtue of which the petitioner's temporary promotion order to the post of Associate Dean (Instructions) was held back, is under challenge in the present petition. However, in the meanwhile by virtue of an order dated 30.07.2019 the petitioner, upon the recommendation of the present respondent No.2 was appointed as Director Of Extension Education, with the respondent No.3 University. The post of Director Of Extension Education, needless to say is a higher grade post than the Associate Dean (Instructions). The order dated

2 25WP1296.19.odt 30.07.2019 is annexed along with this Pursis. Due to the above subsequent developments, present petition is rendered infructuous.

Hence this Pursis."

In view of the above said pursis filed and the order passed on 30.07.2019, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive. We make it clear that we have not adjudicated anything on merits and, everything shall be open, if such an occasion arises. 3.

The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn.
