The application has been filed by the appellants/original claimants for early hearing of the appeal under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Though, the appeal is of the year 2010, the claim petition was of the year 2006 arising from an accident that was caused in the year 2005.

It is stated that applicant No.1 is the widow of the deceased, applicant Nos.2 and 3 are the minor children of the deceased and applicant No.4 is an aged mother of 73 years of age of the deceased. It is stated that they were solely dependent on the income of the deceased and they have no other source of income.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, the application is allowed. The matter be listed on final hearing board in the week commencing from 1st February, 2021.

The civil application stands disposed of.
