Writ Petition is about compensation for land acquired. It is yet to be admitted. Hence, application is allowed. The necessary amendment be carried out within one week.

The petitioners seek leave to amend the petition

2202caw462.17 to incorporate demand for compensation in terms of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. 2.

The respondents are opposing the amendment.

However, merits of the controversy cannot be looked into at this stage. Hence, application for amendment is allowed. Necessary amendment be carried out within one week from today.

The respondents are at liberty to file additional affidavit/ reply within next two weeks.
