appearing on behalf of respondent nos. 1 to 3 points out that the challenge is to division of wards for the purpose of election of Gram Panchayat. According to him challenge is rendered infructuous due to passage of time.

We find that on 04.03.2016 when the matter was called out, nobody appeared for petitioner. Thereafter, the matter was called out on 28.03.2016 and again nobody appeared for petitioner. Today also there is no appearance. We therefore, dismiss the writ petition for want of prosecution. No costs.
