This is an application for permission to withdraw the amount deposited by the appellants. It is stated that as per order passed by this Court in Civil Application No. 1338/2019 on 20/03/2019 and 27/08/2019, the appellants have deposited an amount of compensation of Rs.14,39,997/- (Rs. Fourteen lacs thirty nine thousand nine hundred and ninety seven) vide Cheque dated 12/06/2019 with the Registry of this Court.

It is stated that the original claimant/ respondent No. 1/decree holder is facing hardship due to Covid-19 lock-down.

19ca1377.21.odt Considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the original claimant/respondent No. 1/ decree holder is permitted to withdraw 50% of the aforesaid amount with accrued interest thereon, on furnishing usual undertaking.

The application is disposed of accordingly.
