In compliance with the last order dated January 04, 2024, the respondent no.3-Education Officer (Secondary) has placed on record an affidavit thereby intimating that the name of the petitioner, who is seeking compassionate appointment, is already added to the Wait List maintained by the respondents at Serial Number 62. It is further argued that the petitioner's claim for compassionate appointment shall be considered as per the order reflected in the said Wait List without there being any objection to the sponsorship of her candidature.

In view of aforesaid statement, in our opinion, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. As such, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
