The petition does not seek any substantive relief. The only prayer in the petition is that respondents 1 to 3 be directed to decide the representation dated 23.09.2019. 3.

The representation to which a reference is made is a letter dated 23.09.2019 addressed by the petitioner to the auditor who presumably conducted the statutory audit of the society for the year 2018-19.

No provision in the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 or the rules framed thereunder is brought to our notice which permits much less obligates the statutory auditor to review the findings recorded in the audit report. In this view of the matter, the petition is
