The petitioner is seeking direction to respondent No.1 to decide the service appeal filed on 16/08/2019 by the petitioner against the order of punishment dated 03/08/2019 passed by respondent No.2, thereby imposing penalty of compulsory retirement within a period of two months. 3.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that the aforesaid service appeal is pending for decision with respondent No.1 since August - 2019.

Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, we allow the petition, and direct respondent No.1 - The Principal Secretary Agriculture Department Maharashtra State and Chairman of Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation Limited to decide the aforementioned service appeal of the petitioner within a period of three months. If respondent No.1 requires presence of the petitioner, notice accordingly be issued to the petitioner, and the appeal be decided within a period of three months from the date of first appearance of the petitioner in accordance with law. After the decision, the same be conveyed to the petitioner.
