The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 63/2020 registered with Police Station Bhadrawati, District Chandrapur for offences punishable under sections 406, 420 and 506 of Indian Penal Code read with section 3/25 of Arms Act.

Mr. Vyas, the learned counsel for the applicant submits that the grievances of the complainant and the other alleged victims stem from genuine business interaction and that in order to show her bona fide, the applicant voluntarily undertakes to deposit Rs.3,85,000/- with the jurisdictional court which may be distributed to the rightful claimants.

Only in view of the said undertaking, the interim protection granted vide order dated 26.02.2020 is made absolute.

It is made abundantly clear, that if the amount is not deposited within three weeks, this Court may revisit the protection, if the Investigating Officer moves an appropriate application.

At this stage, the learned counsel Mr. Vyas states that some amount is already paid to the complainant and the alleged victims which may have to be adjusted. Considering the submission, the applicant shall deposit the amount of Rs.3,85,000/- with the jurisdictional court which shall examine the submission of the applicant that some adjustment is required, and distribute the amount to the rightful claimants. The excess amount, if any, shall be returned.
