DATED : 12-03-2024 We have heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners. The issue which is canvassed, is anomaly in basic pay of salary of the executive cadre promoted as Grade-1 in the year 2008 in comparison with the recently promoted officials in even grade in the year 2022. 2.

The petitioners are informed to have already made a representation on 09-1-2024 to the Chairman, Coal India Limited which is not yet decided and at least the petitioners are not informed about any such decision. 3.

In the aforesaid background, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present petition as prayed with directions to respondent No.1 to decide the representation of the petitioners expeditiously and in any case within a period of four months from today and communicate the said order to the petitioners.
