(PER ROHIT B. DEO, J.) Heard. Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith by consent of the learned counsels for the parties. 2.

The application preferred by the petitioner under Rule 12 of the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1981 (for short the MEPS Rules) is pending. 3.

It appears from the communication dated 07.12.2021 that the said application is not decided by the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur in view of the pendency of Writ Petition 5692/2022 (which appears to have been incorrectly referred to as Writ Petition 5591/2021) in the communication dated 07.12.2021, is pending.

The petitioner has withdrawn Writ Petition 5692/2022 (wrongly referred to as Writ Petition 5591/2021 in the communication dated 07.12.2021).

In this view of the matter, we direct the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur to decide the

pending application under Rule 12 of the MEPS Rules within the next two weeks.
