The petitioner came to be appointed from scheduled tribe category.

The petitioner claims for issuance of validity came to be rejected vide order dated 18th January, 2019, which was confirmed up to this Court.

As a sequel of above, the petitioner is claiming absorption of service on supernumerary post, in view of the policy of the Government reflected in Government Resolution dated 21st December, 2019 or such other orders issued by the State Government from time to time in this regard.

It is the case of the petitioner that pursuant to the appointment order dated 26th March, 1999 he was placed in the services of the respondent and as such direction needs to be issued to the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for absorption of the services on supernumerary post.

The counsel appearing for the respondent Mr. Mahalle would urge that in the facts and circumstances of the case, the Court may pass appropriate order as the claim for absorption of the petitioner on supernumerary post can be decided in accordance with law. 7.

In the aforesaid background, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present petition by directing the respondent to consider the claim for absorption and placing the services of the petitioner on supernumerary post as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of two months from the date of this order. 8.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
