It is made clear that as and when moved, the application seeking regular bail shall be decided as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within 72 hours, uninfluenced by any observation in the order of the learned Sessions Court which rejects the pre-arrest protection and uninfluenced by the fact that the applicant has surrendered to custody.
