CORAM : B.R. GAVAI AND MRS. SWAPNA JOSHI, JJ.

DATED : APRIL 20, 2016.

The petitioner has approached this court seeking a direction for his release, since according to him, he has completed 14 years of imprisonment.

The perusal of the reply would show that since the petitioner has completed 14 years, the petitioner's case would be submitted to the State Government for considering his case, after its verification from the Committee, within a period of three months. The learned APP states that the case of the petitioner would be considered and decided within a period of three months from today and, thereafter, the State Government would take appropriate decision.

In that view of the matter, we dispose of the Criminal Writ Petition by taking on record the submission made by the learned APP.
