The applicant - insurance company has filed this application to amend the title clause of the appeal. The title of the appellant was 'L & T General Insurance Co. Ltd.'. The title has been changed to HDFC Ergo General Insurance Co. Ltd. Thus except for change in title, all other contents remain the same. I do not find any reason to not permit the amendment.

In view of the above and for the reasons set out in the application, the application is allowed as prayed for. Amendment be carried out forthwith.

At the request of learned counsel for the appellant, list the appeal in ensuing Lok Adalat dated 3-3-2024.
