This Petition is filed with the sole prayer to issue directions to the Respondents to decide the representation in a time bound manner.

The representation was given on 12 January 2022 and the Writ Petition is filed on 2 March 2022 in less than 2 months.

For issuance of Writ of Mandamus it must be demonstrated that there is a failure on the part of the Respondent-Authorities to perform their duties as per law. Such Writ cannot be issued in routine manner unless the Court is satisfied that there is a failure of statutory duty on the authorities. The time span of two months cannot be considered as gross to issue a Writ of Mandamus. If the Petitioner has any legal right, the Petitioner can approach the Court of law for enforcement of the legal right by initiating substantive proceedings. Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of.
