The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction against the State Government to decide the proposal for the premature release of the petitioner. Mrs. Tripathi, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents states on instructions that the proposal pertaining to the premature release of the petitioner was forwarded to the State Government and is pending. In view of the statement made on behalf of the respondents that the proposal for the premature release of the petitioner is pending with the State Government, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction against the State Government to decide the proposal for the premature release of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within three months. Order accordingly.
