The present appeal was filed in year 2005 challenging judgment and order of conviction dated 17.2.2005 passed by learned 2nd Ad hoc Additional Sessions Judge, Gadchiroli in Sessions Case No.51/2003 whereby learned Judge of the Court below convicted the appellant for offences under Section 498-A and under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

On 23.2.2005, the appellant was released on bail. Thereafter, paper-book was prepared. However, the appellant did not contact his counsel Shri M.P.Khajanchi and, therefore, on 27.6.2019 Bailable Warrant was issued against the appellant.

The matter was listed on 18.7.2019. On the said day, learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri S.S.Doifode for the respondent/State, submitted before this .....2/-

apeal114.05 17 Court that he has received oral instructions that the appellant is dead. Therefore, one week time was granted to file death certificate of appellant-Ravindra on record. 4.

Today, when the matter was listed before this Court, learned Additional Public Prosecutor Shri S.S.Doifode for the respondent/State, submitted that death certificate of Ravindra s/o Tulshiram Dhore is placed on record along with report of Bailable Warrant and report of Police Station Officer, Kurkheda.

These documents are taken on record and marked as "X" collectively.

Since during the pendency of the present appeal, appellant-Ravindra s/o Tulshiram Dhore expired on 23.12.2014, the present criminal appeal stands abated and disposed of accordingly.
