The petitioner obtained admission at the respondent no.2-College for pursuing the M.B.B.S. course on a seat reserved for the Nomadic Tribe-D category. According to the petitioner, he was entitled to pay 50% fees to the College and the remaining 50% fees were to be paid by the State Government. Since the respondent no.2-College collected the entire fees from the petitioner the present writ petition was filed praying that the respondent no.2-College be directed to refund 50% of the said tuition fees. On 02.05.2022, statement made on behalf of the learned counsel for the respondent no.2 that 50% of the tuition fees would be refunded to the petitioner within a period of four weeks was recorded. Today, the learned counsel for the respondent no.2 submits that those fees have been refunded to the petitioner. In view of aforesaid, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. It is accordingly disposed of.
