DATED : 11/03/2020 This is an application for intervention filed on behalf of the applicant primarily on the ground that even in the proceeding in which the impugned order was passed, he was a party and yet, he has not been made a party in the present writ petition.

In addition, the learned counsel for the applicant has invited attention of this Court to order dated 04/11/2019, passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.6555/2019. The said order concerns an issue raised by the applicant before this Court with regard to the necessity of the applicant being heard in the proceedings before the Minister under the proceedings of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1958.

Considering the said document, as also the statements made in the intervention application and the undisputed fact that the applicant was a party in the proceedings wherein the impugned order was passed, the application is allowed and the petitioner is directed to add the applicant, as respondent No.5 in the present writ petition. Application disposed of. Consequential amendment be carried out within one week.

Since the other respondents are already represented through counsel. List the writ petition for final disposal on 19th March 2020.
